This Project consisted of the construction of Qualcomm’s new 80,000 SF mobile work environment with improvements to two full floors in their occupied corporate headquarters, Building N. This project was on a fast track Design/Build process in which we were brought in early to manage and control the design, costs and schedule. Scope Included the construction of new office areas, collaboration/creative spaces, conference rooms and break rooms. All new finishes were implemented in addition to significant MEP upgrades to accommodate the new space. Challenges/opportunities during this project were an unwavering schedule, overtime work, the COVID pandemic, long lead materials, working in an occupied building and coordination with Qualcomm’s third party vendors.
